  报告人介绍   Tom A. Lang先生，美国资深编辑和写作专家，芝加哥大学客座教员，既做过Cleveland Clinic Foundation期刊出版中心的主管，也担任过美国中华医学会（CMB）编辑与写作项目的美方培训专家，World Association of Medical Editors教育委员会主席。创办了Tom Lang Communications & Training International公司，客户遍布法国、意大利、德国、印度、日本、中国等国家，熟知亚洲作者论文英文的写作特点；擅长生物医学论文的写作与编辑，尤其对论文统计和图表的表达有深入研究。著有How to Write, Publish, and Present in the Health Sciences: A Guide for Clinicians and Laboratory一书(美国内科医师学会出版)，目前出版了第2版，并被翻译成俄文、日文和中文；参与编写Scientific Style and Format: The CSE Manual for Authors, Editors, and Publishers, 8th edition；参与编写QUOROM (now PRISMA)有关系统评价（systematic reviews）的指南。
